How to find The Chocolate Factory from the centre of Swansea.
The Chocolate Factory is located on the Swansea West Industrial Park in Fforestfach. This is just off the A483, known as the Carmarthen Road on the North West side of Swansea.
From the centre of Swansea, head east along the Kingsway. Look out for signs for Carmarthen A483 M4 west.
At the eastern end of the Kingsway you will find the Dragon Hotel which is on a roundabout.
At this roundabout, take the second exit on to a road called Orchard Street, which is a dual carriageway. (a landmark on Orchard Street is a Multi Storey Car Park on LHS).
Proceed up Orchard Street till you come to a set of traffic lights, cross over these lights. The right hand turn will take you to Swansea railway station.
You are now on New Orchard Street which becomes, Dyfatty Road, going up hill, which is also a dual carriageway. (landmark on Dyfatty Road is a Texaco garage on LHS and blocks of flats on RHS ) Stay in the left hand lane.
You will eventually come to another set of traffic lights, with a left hand filter lane, turn left at these lights and you will be on the A483, signposted Carmarthen M4 and Fforestfach.
(from here it is dual carriageway all the way to the junction for the Kingsway, follow signs for Carmarthen M4)
Stay on this dual carriageway, you will go over a roundabout leave at second exit and you will pass a BMW garage on your LHS.
You will then go over a smaller roundabout and through several sets of traffic lights. (be aware that there are numerous speed cameras along this route).
At the next set of traffic lights you will note a pub on the LHS called The Marquis, after this pub you should get into the LH lane.
A the next set of traffic lights there is an American Golf shop and a Majestic wine merchant on your LHS, there is the Star pub on the RHS and on the other side of the lights, a Texaco garage. There is also a sign, ‘Swansea West Industrial Park’
Turn left at these lights and you are now on the Kingsway!
The road bends to the right and you will pass Hurns/Tomas Watkins depot on your LHS.Follow the road over the brow of the hill and we are on the LHS.
